MILNER WANTS HOME FORM

James Milner has targeted a much better home form in order to start cleaning up the table. Signed from Manchester City on a free transfer, the England international has fast established himself as an important member of the squad.

Even after the arrival of Jurgen Klopp, his position in the team does not appear to have changed. He played the full 90 minutes in the recent 4-1 win over Manchester City at Etihad stadium. Klopp claimed that this victory helped recover the points dropped in the defeat against Crystal Palace at Anfield.

Having brought in Klopp as the replacement for Brendan Rodgers, Liverpool have so far been experiencing inconsistent results. Despite having taken the maximum points from games against top teams like Chelsea and City, the team have struggled to assert any sort of an authority against teams like Crystal Palace.

This inconsistency sees them languishing ninth in the table, whilst also making it difficult to guess when you are getting a good deal on the live betting odds at StanJames – you’re never sure which Liverpool side will turn up!?

After having achieved a win against his former club, Milner says that Liverpool should start picking up more points at home. The club have certainly struggled in front of their own supporters over the last few years. There used to be a time – especially under Rafa Benitez – when the team was immensely strong at home.

“There’s been pressure at times and that’s what you expect playing for a massive club like Liverpool. But we’ve shown we can beat anyone in beating Chelsea and Man City away from home and we’ve had a number of other good results away from home too. It’s probably only the home form that’s let us down, but in a way that’s a pleasing thing because we know what we need to try and change. If we can improve our home form, we won’t be too far away and we’ll be in the area of the table where we want to be,” said Milner.
