INJURIES FORCE KLOPP’S HAND

Jurgen Klopp’s decision to go into the game against Exeter City with a second string XI did not work well, but, the manager has hinted that he would not hesitate to put a similar sort of young line up on the pitch again in future.

Given the fact that almost half the Liverpool side was injured, the changes were always going to be made, but, nobody would have thought that it would be a totally different starting XI on the park. CARRA – GOAL IS WORTH 35M

Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher has said that the goal Andy Carroll scored in the FA Cup semi-final against Everton is alone worth more than £ 35 million.

Andy Carroll has been ridiculed in various quarters following his £ 35 million move to Liverpool last January. Since then, the England striker has struggled for both form and fitness, but he once again showed that he is close to getting back to his best by scoring the winner against Everton in the FA Cup semi-final at the new Wembley.
