Liverpool secured their fifth win in seven league games this season by beating Crystal Palace 3-1 at Anfield on Saturday afternoon.

Rodgers criticizes Arsenal’s quest for Suarez

Brendan Rodgers has taken a swipe at Arsenal over their pursuit of Luis Suarez, the Mirror has reported.

Last month, the Gunners lodged a bid of £40,000,001 for the Uruguay striker, believing that such a bid would trigger a release clause for the 26 year old striker who has repeatedly expressed a desire to move on this summer.

Suarez accepts FA charge

Liverpool’s Luis Suarez has accepted a charge of violent conduct from the Football Association in light of the Uruguayan striker’s bite on Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic in the 2-2 draw at Anfield on Sunday.

A three-match suspension usually follows such a charge, but given the severity of the incident, a longer ban is expected to be handed down following a meeting of a regulatory commission on Wednesday.
