Liverpool keen on Leverkusen star Havertz

Liverpool is looking forward to sign a deal with an attacking midfielder and they are anticipating a deal with the German club Bayer Leverkusen. Their manager has announced the young and star player of the club Kai Havertz is available for the transfer. The club has been looking forward to signing the young star and the manager’s announcement of their transfer plans has boosted the expectations.

The 20-year-old has scored six goals and has assisted five goals in Bundesliga this season. His reputation has increased making him a valuable player to the football clubs. He has no intention of staying in the same club and looking for a new challenge.

There were other clubs too who are demanding for an attacking midfielder. Arsenal and Chelsea were also interested in bringing the German footballer and Liverpool at the same time had an interest in Timo Werner. Jadon Sancho of Borussia Dortmund continues to be of interest for Manchester United, while Chelsea’s deal is also a possibility. They were also moving on to sign Philippe Coutinho of Barcelona but the coach of the team finalised that he will return to his homeland Brazil to Nou Camp after his loan in Bayern Munich.

“I often wonder about all the things people allegedly know about me. I am ready to make a big step and I like challenges. That includes abroad,” he said.
