Jamie Carragher feels Mohamed Salah has been the signing of the 2017 summer transfer window following an impressive start to his Liverpool career. The Egypt international joined the Reds from AS Roma for a club-record fee in June, and he has since contributed 10 goals in just 16 appearances for the Merseyside club.
Writing in his column in The Telegraph, Carragher revealed that Salah has been the season’s standout signing after having comfortably adapted to the right-wing position. The Liverpool legend initially expected Salah to contribute around 15 goals for the campaign, but he now admits that the attacker is on course to achieve the 25-goal tally. Continue reading
